PAR is beginning its annual process of committee appointments. In the past several years more members have requested committee appointments than can be fulfilled. However, PAR still encourages members to actively participate in any committee of interest by attending committee meetings and participating in discussions.

Members are asked to annually request committee appointments, paying special attention to meeting conflicts during the PAR Business Meetings*. Members interested in committees with conflicting meeting times are asked to make their selections based on the compatibility of committee meeting schedules.

Please note: All requests for committee appointments must be received by Friday, July 16, 2010.

*These committees have conflicting schedules:

• Credentials and Pennsylvania REALTORS® Education Foundation
• Standard Forms Oversight and Legislative (all members of Legislative subcommittee are members of the Legislative Committee)
• REALTORS® Issues Mobilization Committee, Equal Opportunity & Cultural Diversity and Convention Advisory & Marketing Group. The Local President & President Elect sessions also meet at this time.
• Professional Standards/Grievance, Commercial, Industrial & Investment Committee and Finance Committee
